CR2032 is also called: 5004LC, AWI L14, BR2032, BR2332, CR2032, DL2032, EA2032C, ECR2032, L2032, LF1/2V, LM2032, RFA-35, and Seiko SB-T15.

Is this equivalent to BR2032?

It will fit. It will work. However, they have different chemistries, which may impact how long the battery lasts. BR indicates carbon monofluoride cell chemistry, whilst "CR" denotes lithium manganese dioxide chemistry. CR will last longer and give more constant power than BR.

It is often used in: computer motherboards, real-time clock (RTC) backup batteries, device remote controls, remote key fobs for cars/boats/trucks/motorcycles, Apple's AirTag.

When we say that this is a replacement for e.g. Toyota HiAce 2015, it is based off many hours of research.
